| Lord Otaku01-02-08, 11:47 AM | Are there any Templates or other effects that Increase or Decrease a creature's Size? I know there is Dungeon Breed, which decreases the monster's size by 1. |
| Panserbjorn_X01-02-08, 11:50 AM | Just two that immediately come to mind: Half-Minotaur increases the size of a small or medium creature. Kaiju (Drag 289) increases the creature to colossal size, and an additional 40 HD. |
| zook1shoe66601-02-08, 12:50 PM | also Titanic (MM2) |
| Bahumut01-02-08, 06:47 PM | if you look in MM1, the chapter about advancing monsters by hit dice has a section of what changes when a creature increases or decreases in size. i've used that to make Med. Minotaurs, Huge Centuars (Giantaurs :D ), and even Tiny Kobolds! (they're a miniature breed :P ) hope that helps. P.S. also, under the chapter making monsters: creating the monster, there are suggestions and a table about sizes and "typical" ability scores, min. hit die, etc. |

Unfortunately, I am a player in a game (should have mentioned that earlier). I'm trying to build a Huge mount for a Large PC. |

Your looking for a mount for a Large PC you say. Templates may not help you that goal unless you are the DM. So I have a few questions for you. 1 What Race is the PC? 2 Is there anything Wrong with this PC just getting a Standard Huge animal as a Mount? 3 Would a Dire Animal, Huge Vermin or Dinosuar work? |

So far, Half-Ogre (I'll either use the Template from Dragon, but toned down, or the Race from World of Warcraft RPG, with DM permission. It's very balanced, and makes you Large at Level 3 with Racial Levels) 2&3. I was thinking of using one of the various Leadership Feats to get the desired effect, but that would limit me to an LA problem, hence my interest in Templates and critters with ECL's. If it wont work, I'll just take the Wild Cohort Feat (WotC Web article) and call it a day, but I was curious if anyone with more experience knew of any Templates that might allow a Huge Cohort Mount before level 12 (when some of them would have enough Hit-Dice to Advance to Huge). My DM's tend to end their games early and make us grind from low levels, so I'll rarely be level 13-20. Maybe I'm asking for too much, and will just have to except the limitations of the settings I'm offered. |
| Panserbjorn_X01-05-08, 01:28 PM | Just go with a Triceratops, and be done with it :D ~PX~ |
| drunkman01-05-08, 03:35 PM | Why don't you go to a cave and find an adult dragon and talk him into it? (good luck:D ) |

| dragonseth01-06-08, 11:14 PM | Did you mean to post that three times? A lot of Dire Animals and Dinosaurs are Huge. Look in the SRD. |

Multi-headed advances HD by 2 for each extra head. Might be a little strong though. Just give him an Elephant. Or a Triceratops. |
