The Amun are a desert dwelling race in my Campaign Setting. For more info on the world, go here:http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=907351

The Amun are a black-skinned humanoid race. Their society revolves around a caste system with three major divisions: Aristocrat, Warrior, and the working class. The Amun have been isolated for centuries and they have adapted to fit their roles in society better.

Aristocrat: Those that make up the Aristocracy are tall, about 7', and extremely lanky. They are lighter skinned than most Amun, their skin ranging from a light brown to a darker, black-brown color. They generally have (arabic-style) mustaches and beards and have long hair that they keep under turbans or a style of tall hat. They are the more intelligent of the three castes.

Warrior: The warriors of the Amun are hulking engines of war. Easily 8 feet tall and extremely muscular, they make up a large portion of the Amun army. Their skin is generally darker than the aristocrats, and on rare occasions, is coal-black. They wear black or dark blue armor made of an extremely durable metal that they guard jealously. They favor large scimitars and axes, but will also wield clubs, maces, and crossbows. The Amun rarely use straigt-edged weapons. In battle they ride mighty steeds that resemble a wingless blue dragon. They are of average intelligence, good luck trying to find a genius among them.

Peasants (or: Everyone Else): The working class of the Amun vary little from the standard human, aside from being slightly taller and much darker-skinned.

The Amun do keep slaves, but they aren't a slave-heavy culture.

They only have three cities, Amun-Nor, their capital which lies in the middle of the desert surrounding a huge black monolith that is made of the metal that they guard so jealously; Ishid-Nor, which is a traveling mining town that searches the desert for that metal; and Tonar-Nor, which is a gate city into the desert that is their kingdom.

Amun Traits: All Amun gain the Heat Endurance (Sandstorm, pg. 50) feat as a bonus feat.
+2 racial bonus to Survival Checks involving the desert

Warrior:

Amun Traits

+2 Strength, +2 Constitution. -2 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence.

Powerful Build (Ex):The physical stature of the Amun Warriors lets them function in many ways as if they one size category larger. Whenever an Amun warrior is subject to a size modifier or special size modifier for an opposed check (such as during grapple checks, bull rush attempts, and trip attempts), the Amun warrior is treated as one size larger if doing so is advantageous to him. An Amun warrior is also considered to be one size larger when determining whether a creature's special attack based on size (such as improved grab or swallow whole) can affect him. An Amun warrior can use weapons designed for a creature one size larger without penalty. However, his space and reach remain those of a creature of his actual size. The benefits of this racial trait stack with the effects of powers, abilities, and spells that change the subject's size category.

There. Questions, comments, queries, suggestions? I'm not sure if they are quite balanced, I don't make races that often.
