THE GRIMFOLK

"The grimfolk, a race of the living who wear the masque of the dead! Sometimes a person will become tainted by the essence of death; such a powerful and pervading force in our universe. When he or she has children, there is always a risk of that taint being passed on to their unborn!"

- Robert E. Morison, professor of Racial Origins at Nodnol University, circa 533 I.E.

Grimfolk are descended from those with very strong ties to death, such as assassins and necromancers, among others. They are far from being undead, but the signs of their heritage are apparent. Grimfolk take great pride in their distinctive features and abilities.
