TheDarkPrince 06-18-07, 01:19 AM	I would like some help figuring out the stats of a creature born of two half-fiends. (I'm using the half-fiend variants found here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060630a) ) First of all, would the child still have the half-fiend template? (I think it would as 1/4 demon +1/4 demon= 2/4 demon, ie 1/2 demon.....) If so: The first half-fiend is of glabrezu/drow (i.e. draegloth) stock, and the second of marilith/human stock. Any ideas on what to do for powers, stat modifiers, etc? If not, than what would you stat the child as? Thanks, Cheers! :D

Omega_Grey 06-18-07, 01:27 AM	Well I know my post isnt going to be much help, but I do recall that in one of the Dragon magazines they mentioned how the Half-dragon would breed true for a generation or two, and I dont see why half-fiend would be any different. As for abilities and such, take the average of the two? That sounds good to me (keeping them within the limits of course) and for abilities I would have to say the marilith would probably over power the glabrezu bloodline. Then again you could just make a list for both and alternate powers by level from the two.

Thanks, Cheers! :D I say that marilith abilities overrule those of the glabrezu because the marilith is a higher form of demon, but like I said, thats just me. I think draegloths are sterile for flavor reason more then anything.

Their just half-fiends with a special name as far as I know....I mean I know their a bit different....no SLA's and such, but why does that make them sterile? And where is this found? runestar 06-18-07, 02:42 AM	It is mentioned in champions of ruin. They are essentially genderless, sexless and sterile, though it was never explained why. My guess is to prevent some sort of possible power struggle amongst the matron mothers or something.:)
