I just finished watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit and just remembered why I enjoy watching that movie so much!

I'd like to know: is there some creature type, template or subtype for 'toon creatures that exist out there? I'd like to know if there is or not.

If there doesn't exist one, does anyone wanna help me build one? I figure that 'toons would follow essentially 'supernatural' strictures as in the cartoons and all.

So, anyone know of anything?

nearest thing is the Kalashtar (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/eb/20040413a) I think, but there are no WFRR-toon traits I think.A wild guess:

Toon creature:

- Apply to anthro animal, humanoid, or living construct.
- multiple damage resistances.
- Bonus to dodge
- Access to a Bag of holding
- vulnerable to acid
- heavy penalties to concentation and or wisdom based rolls.
- About LA +4 ?

Pegasus may look um... stupid for lack of a better word, but his 'toon cards are something i've always tried to make in dnd and have always failed, they don't work, and if you can make them well then kudos to you. I always ruled though that because they are 'toons they are ineffective in battle but have the equivelent of total concealment

Copy some of the Elder Eidolon traits for Impossible Geometrics or whatever it was called.

Most toons should be very easy to Bluff...they believe pretty much anything. Perhaps they're a type of Chaos exemplar? They'd have very rapid regeneration, and even if killed, they automatically resurrect after each encounter (perhaps some kind of particular damage...alchemical, necromantic...might prove capable of permanently destroying one).

Hey, I wouldn't mind a Toon Mermaid (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q128/Finfreeze/toon_mermaid.jpg) or a Toon Black Magician Girl (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q128/Finfreeze/toonblackmagiciangirl.jpg), myself.

Although I'd imagine statting many of the Toon monsters would just be plain bizarre... One, they generally rely on the Toon World to function, two they're just stylized versions of normal monsters, and three you'd have to do a lot of expansion to make a typical playing card monster interesting as a character.

Done that, but it takes a little while especially things like slot machine. what does it do? Spin slots? you've got to adapt it. My slot machine summons demon thugs to deal with people who lose to the (fixed) slots.
You have to reason alot to why it does damage.
Toon dark magician girl. attacks; stick with weighted end. 2000 attack points!?!?!?!? oh it has to be a sorcseror. obvius example but others are tougher.
