Vril abilities: Errata necessary! [Archive] - Wizards Community

While perusing The Drow of the Underdark, I found an entry for an interesting monster: the Vril. It also seemed viable as a PC race, with its +0 LA. There is one hitch though: there is no stat block for a sample vril, and thus no way to know what its two defining abilities do.

Those abilities are Skinshift and Shriek. It also has unlisted weaknesses. Does anyone know what these do? I've been able to piece together that the Shriek ability requires a standard action to and the skinshift likely provides dr 5/something, but I don't know how often these abilities can be used and what they do exactly.

Any help here would be appreciated, or even suggestions for how to create something balanced.

09-12-07, 08:57 AM You can do a search on the main site for 'drow of the underdark errata' this will give you the sample for Vril. The errata was done at the time of the book release.
