What is the LA worth [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-15-07, 07:16 PM Well, the Necropolitain template has no level adjustment at all. While it makes you lose a level to obtain, you get XP faster than the rest of your party, eventually catching you up again... So if that's any indication, it's not quite worth a LA of +1, but it's too much for no LA...

08-15-07, 07:25 PM As noted the Necropolitain (Libris Mortis) makes a humanoid (I'd have to check on other types.) into basic undead with no LA except you take a level hit for dying.
