hey, i was just wondering if there was a winged kobold race out there that was playable for a +1 LA or less.

If not, is there a template or feat that would grant it? they dont need to be working wings, they just need to be there for flavor, though itd be cool if they granted a fly speed.

thanks

Races of the Dragon has a feat chain that gives wings to kobolds, starting with a glide speed, moving up to short periods of light then true flight.

Savage Species also has the la +2 Winged template.

Dragonwrought kobold or kobold dragonborn

Both are Races of Dragon

You don't need to be a dragonwrought kobold to pick up the wings. But dragonborn is also a nice idea.

Yeah, if you want a winged kobold, dragonborn is probably the best option. +0 LA, and you can get rid of that pesky light sensativity. +2 con and -2 dex even out the penalties a bit.

If you just want to play a winged character, Raptoran would be a better bet. Dragonborn raptoran for a winged character with a breath weapon.

That dragonborn thing sounds intriguing. what are the specifics? i just ordered the races of dragons but it wont come for a while so any info would help make my character then ill see the reall rules and work out the kinks.

thanks again

You are presented the option to become dragonborn by Bahamut so you can better fight evil dragons and other servants of Tiamat.

Probably not the best option roleplaying wise, unless you are clever enough to explain exactly how a kobold happened into this situation.

Pay some gold an d perform a ritual, stats are modified a lil bit, lose some racial traits and gain some new ones from the pseudo-template.
