Here are 5 dragon related feats that I have created and seek the review of.

(leaving my draconic heritage feat here for now)
Draconic Heritage
The blood of dragons courses through your veins.
Prerequisites: Any non-dragon.
Benefit: As a fringe benefit of the draconic ancestry somewhere in your family tree you gain Darkvision 10 feet, and +1 to your Fortitude Save.
Special: This feat may only be taken at first level. The character does not lose the benefits of this feat if their type changes to Dragon.

Dragon’s Blood (Acid)
Your draconic ancestry has begun to express itself more, and your eyes take on a more draconic appearance to them with a sickly yellow hue as the dominant color.
Prerequisites: Draconic Heritage.
Benefit: You cast spells with the acid descriptor at +1 caster level. You also gain Acid Resistance equal to the level of the spell you just cast until the beginning of your next turn.
Special: A character with this feat cannot take the Dragon’s Blood (Cold), Dragon’s Blood (Electricity), or Dragon’s Blood (Fire) feats.

Dragon’s Blood (Cold)
Your draconic ancestry has begun to express itself more, and your eyes take on a more draconic appearance to them with an icy white hue as the dominant color.
Prerequisites: Draconic Heritage.
Benefit: You cast spells with the cold descriptor at +1 caster level. You also gain Cold Resistance equal to the level of the spell you just cast until the beginning of your next turn.
Special: A character with this feat cannot take the Dragon’s Blood (Acid), Dragon’s Blood (Electricity), or Dragon’s Blood (Fire) feats.

Dragon’s Blood (Electricity)
Your draconic ancestry has begun to express itself more, and your eyes take on a more draconic appearance to them with an electric blue hue as the dominant color.
Prerequisites: Draconic Heritage.
Benefit: You cast spells with the electricity descriptor at +1 caster level. You also gain Electrical Resistance equal to the level of the spell you just cast until the beginning of your next turn.
Special: A character with this feat cannot take the Dragon’s Blood (Acid), Dragon’s Blood (Cold), or Dragon’s Blood (Fire) feats.

Dragon’s Blood (Fire)
Your draconic ancestry has begun to express itself more, and your eyes take on a more draconic appearance to them with a fiery red hue as the dominant color.
Prerequisites: Draconic Heritage.
Benefit: You cast spells with the fire descriptor at +1 caster level. You also gain Fire Resistance equal to the level of the spell you just cast until the beginning of your next turn.
Special: A character with this feat cannot take the Dragon’s Blood (Acid), Dragon’s Blood (Cold), or Dragon’s Blood (Electricity) feats.

There is a whole list of of Draconic feats the Complete Arcane (IIRC). As a matter of fact, I believe the lead in feat is actually called "Draconic heritage". As your your Dragon's Blood feats, I don't really see anything wrong with them. They actually seem a little weak. Maybe this for example:

Dragon’s Blood (Electricity)
Your draconic ancestry has begun to express itself more, and your eyes take on a more draconic appearance to them with an electric blue hue as the dominant color.
Prerequisites: Draconic Heritage.
Benefit: You cast spells with the electricity descriptor at +1 caster level. When you cast a spell with the electricity decriptor, you gain Resistance: Electricity 5 for the next round.
Special: A character with this feat cannot take the Dragon’s Blood (Acid), Dragon’s Blood (Cold), or Dragon’s Blood (Fire) feats.

Have fun!!

These feats were actually written before Complete Arcane ever came out. Right now I'm just looking for a bit of input on them.

I'll consider adding in the (descriptor) resistance type to the feats.

I know you wrote these long ago.

Yet; it's territory that has been covered. And your sampling is somewhat lackluster. I mean nothing but honest critique when I say these things. :)

Lackluster how? And what does it matter if it is territory that has been covered before? When I made these feats they seemed new and interesting to me, and I was trying to add an option for characters to have some draconic ancestry buried so far back in their family that a template was not needed.

Looking at the Complete Arcane, you really only give us 1 draconic feat. There's nothing wrong with that, however.

I'd reccomend using the CArc version of Draconic Heritage (as yours is much weaker in comparison). If you wanted to be able to give Draconic characters darkvision, make a Draconic Sight feat or something.

But, for creating these before Complete Arcane, kudos to you.

I see. Looks like I have some work ahead of me. Anyone else out there have any comments on the above feats before I get started?

I like the fact that you did not make it so that only one class could take the feat like what was done in CA.

When I saw that I wasn't a big fan of that restriction either.
