I remember seeing somewhere a feat that grants following great ability for multiclassed characters:

"If a skill is a class skill for any of your classes, it is considered a class skill for all of your classes."

Now I have a trouble finding it again. I have just too many books. And no, I'm not talking about the Able Learner feat found from the Races of Destiny.

The Skill Knowledge feat from Unearthed Arcana (pg81), lets you do this with two skills only. That might be what you're remembering. Have a read of this (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=890939)

Why do you want them specifically to be class skills?

Because the rank cap for skills is based on if the skill is a class skill for any class that you have, and Able Learner means all skills cost only 1 skill point for 1 rank, so even if a skill is a "cross class" skill for a given class/level, you have all the same mechanical benefits of it being a class skill.

Do you have some ability that specifically runs off of "class skills"?

Human Paragon can permanently make one skill a class skill. I doubt an ability would make everything into class skills.

I want to use the max rank cap of a class skill and invest 1 skill point for one skill rank.

I want to use the max rank cap of a class skill and invest 1 skill point for one skill rank.

The max rank cap for skills is based off whether a skill is a class skill for any of your classes, so you already have that automatically:

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/multiclass.htm

Skills

If a skill is a class skill for any of a multiclass character’s classes, then character level determines a skill’s maximum rank. (The maximum rank for a class skill is 3 + character level.)

If a skill is not a class skill for any of a multiclass character’s classes, the maximum rank for that skill is one-half the maximum for a class skill.

The Able Learner feat will make all skills cost 1 point for 1 rank. So it actually does what you want.

I knew it was somewhere. I just couldn't recall if it was a feat or automatic ability.
