| chaotic_easy_going02-26-08, 10:51 AM | Hi, I want to make a barbarian/occult slayer that is designed to charge or leap past guards to attack wizards hiding in the back. Is there a feat that lets me declare a charge against people I can see but don't have a direct path to? Thanks, ~ CEG |

| Slimgauge02-26-08, 11:21 AM | There's the feat "Fleet of Foot" from Complete Warrior that lets you make a turn during a charge. There's the skill trick "Twisted Charge" from ... whatever book had all the skill tricks in it (I think it was Complete Scoundrel, but don't hold me to that). The mobility feat can reduce the AoOs that hit you while moving thru all those threatened areas to get there. There's improved overrun if you want to just run over things on the way to the crunchies. |
| Selgard02-26-08, 11:48 AM | You can also tumble as part of a charge, as far as I recall. Not sure if you can tumble in rage though. |

Thanks, ~ CEG Leap Attack lets you jump over obstacles (like people) and tumble lets you ignore AoO if in their reach while doing so. |

| Orenmir02-26-08, 12:33 PM | There is a ToB maneuver called Bounding Assault that lets you take a double move and end with a charge. It's basically a charge that removes the "straight line" restriction. |

It might take a round to position yourself before charging. Every Occult Slayer should have himself a pair of Winged Boots! ;) |
| Someone02-26-08, 12:51 PM | There's the Shock Trooper feat in Complete Warrior. With it, you could charge one of the opponents in front, bull rush him back through all the other bodies towards your real target, and then make your end-of-charge attack against the now prone real target. Provided your bull rush check is high enough, at least. |
