Now I believe there special ability given to the duelist by this name.

The feat I'm wanting to create will require a really high Dex, along with base attack. Also perhaps a finessed light piercing weapon.

When the character scores a critical hit the crit range of his next attack is increased by one die place.

Example

A character attacks and scores a crit with a weapon that has 18-20 range. The range for his next attack will be 17-20. If he were to hit again it would increase to 16-20. It would continue to increase till he either, does not score a critical with an attack or ends his turn of attacks. This ability would not carry over to additional actions given by Haste or such means.

I was thinking requirements would be, Dex 20+, Base Attack 15+ Weapon Finesse, and a finessed piercing weapon.

The feat is suppose to represent that the character is attempting to strike at the same spot as before.

If something like this already exists please tell me where I can find it. If there are any suggestions to this feat that would make it more practicle I would also like to hear them.

To be honest, that sounds pretty weak. Given a fine feat that doubles your crit range all the time, adding one to your range occasionally isn't very appealing.

What about something like: if you score a critical hit, then if you score a threat on your next attack on the same opponent (within one round), it automatically crits.

Blood in the Water
Tiger Claw (Stance)
Level: Swordsage 1, warblade 1

...

While you are in this stance, you whip yourself into a terrible rage. When you score a critical hit against an opponent, you enter a near frenzied state from the sight and smell of blood. You gain a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls. Because this is an untyped bonus, it stacks with each successful critical hit you score. If you go more than a minute without achieving a critical hit, you no longer gain the benefit of the stance.

If you start with that, and change "blood lust" to "finesse!", it is coming close to approximating what you want. Since you can purchase a feat to take a level one ability from the book, I'd say that it's possible.

However, I would agree that it's weak. It relies on you being very lucky, and unless you're mysteriously a Scorpion Clan Samurai, you're not going to be hitting that many crits in a row. Jaelis may be on to something.

Telling Cut
You open your opponent's defenses with a well-placed strike.
[General, Fighter]
Prerequisite: Base attack bonus +8, Improved Critical
Benefit: When you using a weapon to which you have applied Improved Critical, you gain a +2 bonus to confirm critical hits. If you successfully confirm a critical hit on an opponent, you open his defenses to future criticals. If your next melee attack this turn hits, treat it as a critical threat.

And even then, the feat is dependant on your luck, not your skill. I don't like crit dependant feats... unless I've taken the other feats to break them badly.
