A trick i need help with [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-13-07, 01:35 PM and no im not talking about my mom, right now my friend and i have a project in the works to start some trouble in the town we are in. I am a lvl 6 soon to be 7 rogue.I will very soon be getting a hat of disguise, I am going to turn into one of the local higher ups in town and cause some trouble. the only problem is my voice doesnt change, so i need a way to mimic how they sound, is there a feat to help with this or a skill i should take in perform maybe? all help and suggestions are appreciated.

06-13-07, 01:59 PM It's all in your Disguise skill. Hat of Disguise doesn't turn you into someone, it just makes your Disguise checks better. That will go for your voice as well as your appearance. But you can still fail your checks and be discovered, especially if you don't have many ranks in the skill and you're dealing with people who know this guy. Be careful and do your homework.

06-13-07, 02:03 PM Yep yep. Get your disguise skill up. Invest in a Disguise Kit (or Masterwork version thereof) in addition to the hat.

You'll also want some Bluff skill too I'd wager. Check that. A lot of Bluff skill.
