| DJ-Foxx01-13-08, 11:16 PM | I was wondering if there was a feat way to get blindsense other than the Combat Awareness feat? |
| silvergamgee01-13-08, 11:28 PM | If you want something like that, I do think that blind-fight feat then trees out into a splatbook feat that gives you blindsense at a 5 foot range. Otherwise you could play a Grimlock character. |
| Saiyamantis01-13-08, 11:59 PM | Clerics get Blindsight as a 3rd level spell, druids a 4th. Blindsight is also one of the scout's high-level abilities. |
| dman1123501-14-08, 12:22 AM | Don't druids also get it as a 3rd? And then both get Greater as 4th. And Listening Lorecall can do it too. |
| MnemonicSV01-14-08, 04:09 AM | I was wondering if there was a feat way to get blindsense other than the Combat Awareness feat? I'm confused... is it blindsense or blindsight you want? The thread title says one, but the post says another. Those are two very different abilities... blindsight is waaaaayyyy better than blindsense. (assuming blindsense...) IIRC, the "Hear the Unseen" feat from Complete Adventurer can let you pinpoint the location of foes by sound, much like blindsense, and has relatively low prerequisites too. It isn't 100% reliable (there's a check involved), but for the right build it can be quite potent, with advantages beyond the regular stock blindsense ability. |
