| The_Shaman03-08-07, 07:39 AM | Hi, I've been looking through some 3.0 books - Magic of Faerun, to be exact - and I wanted to take one prestige class there. The alertness feat is one of the requirements, however, and since I would be playing a sorcerer I would be a bit feat-starved. I wondered would having a familiar count as having the feat? The book itself seems to indicate that's how it worked in 3.0. Would it be an acceptable conversion? I realize that losing or dismissing the familiar would mean that my character would not be able to advance in the class. |
