In Sandstorm, the feat ''Drift Magic'' give access to a magic who belong to the desert.
Do I understand clearly the feat, if according to me it means that any of my spells can be cast in free action ? at least I have 15 pounds of dust or sand with me ?
Plus all the other benefits of the feat ?

Yes and no. Drift magic will not affect any spell with a casting time greater than 1 standard action. You need to have 1 pound of desert material with you for it to work outside of a wastes type environment (sand, ash, or dust type). When in the enviroment it's a free action, when outside of the environment and using your pound of sand, it's a move action.

Well euhm...it's not a little bit too powerful ? I mean, in the waste the wizards with this feat will always cast before anything !

(Except for those who act in swift or immediate action)

Seems uber-potent to me as well, but that is how I interpret it. I think that is why, that as a DM, I would make it a difficult thing to get. Least not without some major rational and reasoning. ;)
