Alright, so my Barbarian/Swashbuckler uses a spiked chain (which may or may not be combined with another weapon depending on how the GM rules it). I was wondering if there's a feat or ability that allows you to pull your foes in, sort of like a reverse bull-rush.
It'd be a neat signature move for my character: toss the chain around someone's legs, trip and pull them into close range, plunge the sword on the other end of the chain into the prone foe.

Is there such a feat/class ability?

Thanks in advance!

There is no such thing as far as I'm aware, but you could just treat it as a trip attempt followed by a strength check to pull the target towards you... this is all subject to you DM's approval, though

If you used a harpoon (best ranged weapon ever) you'd be able to do this.

Is this an actual mechanic, or was this just a humorous remark related to the thread title? :P

This is real, and no joke. The harpoon is an exotic weapon detailed in the book Storwrack; One of its defining features is a unique ability to "get stuck" in an opponent who fails a reflex save. The harpoon is attached to a rope, and as such may be reeled in.

Look it up. And again; best weapon. Ever.

It is a lot of fun. In addition to sticking them, if they try to remove it without a Heal check, they take damage equal to the damage they took when first struck and they provoke an AoO IIRC. :evillaugh

I believe the Harpoon is also in Frostburn.
It's also in Sword & Fist. From my understanding, the old 3.0 version is identical to the 3.5 version printed later.
