| rone_leah11-01-07, 01:03 PM | Can animal companions learn martial manuevers? And if so what kind would be usefull? |
| InkBlot11-01-07, 01:53 PM | Yes, they can. However many DMs don't understand how awesome a pugilist lion (http://www.kiwisbybeat.com/minus39.html) can be, and they will try to ban animals from taking Martial Study and Martial Stance. I myself find this somewhat reasonable, but with enough training (a lot of training, and maybe some magical intervention) an animal companion can do a lot cool stuff. |

| Suspect_Unusual11-01-07, 10:09 PM | "Mister Druid, what did your fleshraker just do?" "Timmy, that's called the Battle Leader Charge. It's a wonderful maneuver I learned from a travelling monk before I ate him with some fava beans and a nice chianti. I taught it to my companion, and he's been doing it ever since." "Oh. Mister druid, why did you kill my poor commoner father and my poor commoner mother?" "Timmy, that's called natural selection. If you'll excuse me, my pet is still hungry. Running only makes him hungrier, so if you're lucky, you'll leave with most of your body intact." |
