anime inspired feats and skills [Archive] - Wizards Community

Unknown Power: Upon selecting this feat, the DM chooses one supernatural ability, spell-like ability, psi-like ability, breath weapon, or anything else he desires. When said DM decides to introduce this power, it will suddenly manifest, and after that point, you can use it whenever you wish within DM limitations.

Transformation: In times of dire stress, your body surpasses all limits to enable you to perform accomplishments and deeds that would be well-nigh impossible for anyone else. Whenever your hit points go into the negatives, you may make a will save, which you can choose to fail, if you desire. Upon failing this will save, your character becomes overcome with their inner power, granting them the +30 to all ability scores, DR 50/-, SR 100, and access to any spells you desire at will. These bonuses last until whatever threat triggered them appears to be neutralized, and vanish 1 round later. Once they have left, you are reduced to -9HP, stable, and rendered unconcious.
Prerequisite: Endurace, Diehard, no ability score below 15

Hm, I kinda like that one. Even with just "Then you die" tacked onto the end (and toned down a little), that could be a not-bad feat. Oh, and specify that it requires the Diehard feat, and that you have to be in negative hitpoints to use it.

07-13-07, 12:52 PM Well, my original basis for this was Tenchi, from Tenchi Muyo. You recall how whenever Tenchi was put into a dire situation, he went God Mode and no one could beat him? That same idea. Though making it so you have to be in the negatives is a good idea.

Where you jump and then don't move your body and as long as you don't move your body, you can effectively fly in a straight line forever and ever. (Or maybe it just seems that way).

Then there is the Mass Hold Monster effect. The caster simply begins a long, improbable speech and no one is allowed to take any actions until the speech is done.

Prerequisites: female

Whenever you cast a spell you appear as a glowing naked silhouette regardless of what clothing you are wearing. Once the casting is complete your clothing is returned as normal. A naked spell does not modify the level of spell cast and may be cast spontaneously with no increase in casting time.
