I am playing a vow of poverty character and am discovering one of the downfalls of this choice - difficulty bypassing silver, cold iron, or admantium DR requirements. Currently I am a lawful good Ftr 2/ Rog 5/ Slayer of Domiel 1 (BOED).

Are there any feats out there to allow a character to bypass DR, or to alter natural attacks so they take on different qualities, such as silver, cold iron, or admantium? I know a high level monk's damage type changes as they level up, but that will not help me given my planned character build.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Theres a feat in PHB II that is intended for monks. I forget the name water falling on stone? something like that. Anyhow whenever you punch something and DR applies to your unarmed attack you get +4 on damage.

needs +8 bab though and as its worded i(from my memory at least) it seems intended for unarmed attacks and not natural weapons.

Martial Study(Any stone dragon maneuver that bypasses dr)
Stone Dragon has a number of maneuvers that are able to bypass dr and hardness. Is there nothing the Book of Nine Swords cannot do?:D (Minus spellcasting)

Sense Weakness in the Draconomicon lets you ignore 5 points of DR. I can't remember if it applies to all DR or just DR/-.

Silver Fang from Champions of Valor would allow you to bypass DR/Silver, but only with natural/unarmed attacks.

If you're a warforged,Races of Eberron has Silver Tracery and Cold Iron Tracery, which make your natural attacks overcome DR of those types.

Sense Weakness (Draconomicon)

Allows you to sense the weakness of all Draconomicons! (Sorry, the way it was written it looked like part of the feat, couldn't resist :P)

I would suggest the epic feat penetrate DR, but i can see you are no where near epic feats. :P

Versatile Unarmed Strike (PHB2) - as swift action switch your unarmed strike between slashing, piercing and bludgeon. Especially useful underwater or vs plants, (half damage with bludgeon underwater, or DR10/slashing) and vs some of the oddball stuff in the newer monstr manual books that has stuff like DR adamantine+piercing, or magic+slashing.

If you're a dwarf, there's a two-feat tree in Races of Stone that can make your unarmed strikes cold iron.

If you take enough Paladin levels to get turning, there's the glorious weapons feat and improved smiting, both of which can beat DR/evil briefly.

I think complete champions have some align weapon feat options too, although it might be something like fighter substitutoin levels.
