| ToastedAmphibian03-06-08, 05:06 PM | I noticed in the SRD that jump dosnt have any epic usage. Seeing as my level 10 character has a +60 jump mod, i was wondering if any of you monk players out there had found any other good uses for the jump skill aside from the obvious. (Sudden leap, leap attack, tank evasion) |
| Anodai03-06-08, 05:19 PM | My group uses an oblivion-esque house rule where jump is replaced with acrobatics. jump checks can be made to lessen fall damage. obviously, it can alsosubstitute for a climb check. |
| ToastedAmphibian03-07-08, 05:17 PM | Ive heard a feat called "battle jump" mentioned before. Where can i find that at, and what does it basically do? |
| The_Shaman03-07-08, 05:27 PM | I think it was in Unapproachable East: if you jump down on an enemy some distance, your attack is treated like a charge. In that book, however, it was only for Taers - it might be expanded in some later source. |

| ToastedAmphibian03-07-08, 06:58 PM | Ever heard of the Jumplomancer? No. [Insert Googlmancey here] .... Excellent...... |
| MrWildman03-07-08, 10:41 PM | Ever heard of the Jumplomancer? That. . . is just so. . . wrong! I love it. :D I almost (almost, mind you) want to show this to a player of mine. Show him what heights a character can reach if you work really hard at it. Peace. |

| TheEndIsNear03-08-08, 10:30 AM | Since when you long jump, the vertical distance at half of your jump is equal to a quarter of the distance jumped. Battle Jump make you double your charge damage if you fall on a creature from X feet depending on their size, wich means you have to long jump 4X feets, wich is the DC, but with +60, you can double damage against large and smaller creatures and even huge if you roll a 20, nice:P It's in Unapprochable East BTW...
