Is there any way to buff your sneak attack? Be it by increasing the dice size (d6 to d8), or by just using a spell of any sort?

I highly doubt it's possible, but it's worth a shot.

Please, only official WotC products, since my DM won't allow otherwise.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Deadly Precision (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicFeats.htm#deadlyPrecision) lets you reroll 1s. I think there're some feats in other books that let you up your SA die or something like that against certain enemies...

TWF FTW!

Also, there are a few spells that allow you to sneak attack creatures you normally couldn't sneak attack. There's one for undead, contructs, and plant creatures respectively, and I think they're all in the SC (too lazy to check right now).

The deadly precision weapon quality (MiC) ups SA by one, as does the rogue's vest (DMGII), Sacred Strike (?) from BoED makes your SA do d8s vs evil creatures, the epic feat Improved Sneak Attack (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/feats.htm#improvedSneakAttack) increases it by one.

Wracking Touch, is a spell in SC which adds damage to your SA damage.

You can definitely grab two-weapon fighting to pretty much double your sneak attack damage. There is the weapon property that adds +1d6 to sneak attack damage.

There is also the penetrating strike alternate class feature in Dungeonscape. Its probably too good, but it allows you to deal half your sneak attack damage to creatures that are immune as far as I can recall.

Then there's always the option of just being a stupid munchkin and completely optimizing your sneak attack through the use of retarded feat optimization and prestige class choices. I did it once (albeit through the use of a really cheesy Green Ronin product) and got I think 18d6 sneak attack damage at 20th level, and a whopping 13d6 at 12th level (lose 2d6 for not using Green Ronin's Unholy Warrior and its still pretty nasty)!

Assassins Stance form Tome of Battle gives a nice +2d6.

There a feat in Dragon Magic called dragonfire strike (I think) that gives you an additional 2d6 to sneak but the sneak attack gains the fire descriptor (not necessairely undesirable).

You can duel wield a pair of Barbed Daggers found in Complete Adventurer. Each gets a +1d6 to Sneak Attacks.

Two daggers is the best way I've found to work with a heaping mound of sneak attack damage, which is nice because after going through Invisible Blade you can throw them what... 20ft? (Maybe 15, but still, you can throw them).

You can gain access to Assassin's Stance at 12th level, just pick up Martial Study sometime in your career, and then at 12th pick up Martial Stance (feat, Tome of Battle). That'll net you +2d6 sneak attack right there. Not too shabby. As far as I recall Dragonfire Strike doesn't actually increase the number of dice you roll, but I think makes all the damage fire, and adds +1 fire damage per d6. I could be mistaken.

You can duel wield a pair of Fingerblades found in Sandstorm. Each gets a +1d6 to Sneak Attacks.

Fixed. Barbed daggers give you a +2 on damage if you have 5 ranks in Sleight of Hand.

Craven, a feat from Champions of Ruin, adds to SA damage.

Sword of Subtlety, DMG. +4 to attack and damage on sneaks only.

My GM allowed me to add it to my chosen weapon as a +1 enhancement.

As a +1? For a +4 attack and damage? That seems a little low to me. And by a little, put it at a +3 or so. Or maybe a flat price, Or maybe just use the sword of subtlety and enhance it further, because you can't take parts of specific weapons, without creating a new item. A +1 on that is 14,000 gp to little.

i know someone mentioned Deadly precision feat but there is also the Deadly Precision item quality that you enchant your items with. It grants an extra +2d6 on sneak attacks. It is found in the complete adventurer handbook. I should mention tough it's kinda of steep with a +2 bonus for 2d6 damage considering flaming add +d6 on all attacks.

He justified it as it is very situational. You only get the plus during a sneak attack. If it's used in a normal attack the +1 gives you bupkiss.

Very situational, as in, every combat when you can flank. Which is really easy to do. They price the sword at 22,000+shortsword and masterwork. You shouldn't just lower the price. And since it's a specific weapon, they don't translate to enhancements for a reason. It specifically the shortsword that gives you nice bonuses when sneak attacking. And if anything, the price of the actual sword is too low, because it has to be done with a shortsword.

And the deadly precision weapon quality got changed with the Magic Item Compendium. See post #4.

Dragonfire Strike actually looks pretty cool for someone with an acid or sonic draconic heritage. FYI it's a +1d6 increase when you choose to use the feat, not +2d6.
