| SpoonyBard04-29-07, 03:04 PM | tailored magic item of +skill (Profession(specified profession))? Usually a bad idea. You'll never earn the money back from the bonus this item gives. |
| Leress04-29-07, 03:55 PM | Masterwork Tools |
| Grave_Accomplice04-29-07, 08:07 PM | Helpers and apprentices. +2 each. |
| JulesCARV04-30-07, 01:51 AM | Usually a bad idea. You'll never earn the money back from the bonus this item gives. Assuming you follow the +x competence bonus = 100 * x^2 formula, you'll earn in back in 200 * x^2 weeks of profession rolls. If you make 50 weekly profession rolls per year, then you can make up a +1 item in four years, or a +2 item in sixteen years. |
