Quick question that's been bugging me. Would it be overpowered or broken to allow a character to use Arcane Disiple, or a similar feat, to select one of the wizard 'arcane domains' form the alternate class features list in Unearthed Arcana.

If not, then i can see the feat coming in even more handy for a Warmage character i had planned.

Personally, I've never liked the Arcane Domains variant at all. A "regular" wizard could select it and not lose anything really. It would just be an added bonus which, quite frankly, wizards don't need.

Ruleswise I don't think it's allowed. That said, I don't find the Arcane Domains broken in comparison to Clerical Domains. Neither do I think Arcane Disciple is. If your DM ok's it, yeah, go for it ;)

Thanks, that's what i wanted to hear, i'll put it to him and see what he says. Otherwise, i'm working on a bloodline feat that does the same thing (bloodline from the Dragon Compendium, not Hertage from the complete books.)

I'm afaraid I don't own Dragon Compendium nor have I ever read it. But I'll try to be of assistance!

Hope you get what you want :)
