| LadyK03-06-08, 10:38 AM | I would like to use a cleric that is proficient with a bow. And I was wondering what feats would be a good idea to take? I plan to use Zen archery because my dex is fairly low and possibly also woodland archer. But if anyone has made a archer cleric build could I please see it to get an idea of my possibilities? |

The Elf domain gives you Point Blank Shot as a bonus feat. 1: Zen Archery 3: Rapid Shot (Requires 13 Dex) 6: Craft Arms and Armor 9: Quicken Spell 12: Precise Shot Use a masterwork bow until level 6, then craft your own, adding on abilities that inflict extra damage dice. At higher levels, ride a flying mount and/or Air Walk to stay out of combat. Quicken Spell lets you cast a spell while making a full attack with your bow. Use Quicken Spell for Divine Favor, Guiding Light, Align Weapon, Brambles (one arrow only, but still +10 damage). You can even use Quicken+Guidance for a +1 attack bonus. I prioritize Quicken Spell before Precise Shot because you can use Quicken + Divine Favor, which is better than Precise Shot any day. Ranged Disarm is arguably better than Precise Shot, too, depending on the enemies you face and how well your party works together. |
