We start with 19,000 gold to spend as we please. I am curious if taking Armor proficiency light would be a good idea and spend some cash to get a Mythral Chain Shirt of Twilight +1, this would cost me a feat and roughly 6000g but the armor would translate to: Armor 5 Max Dex 7 Armor Check Penalty 0 Spell Failure 0% (-10% from Mythral and another -10% from Twilight) Weight 12.5lb With 4000g for gloves of dexterity +2 my dex would be a total of 20 (16 roll, +2 for being an elf, then +2 from gloves) Just curious if this would be a good idea, it sounds good on paper to me but I'm curious about what others think. |

I don't know why but I was thinking I got bonus negatives (as in added negatives to skill checks or what not) or something if I was not proficient in the armor. |

Mithral chain shirt of twilight is practically standard gear for those arcanists without Armored Casting. :) |
