I might be going crazy here, but I could have sworn that within the last couple of days I had seen a mention on the board somewhere of a class feature or variant or feat or SOMETHING that modified the Barbarian's Rage giving it additional bonuses in exchange for an additional -2 AC penalty.

I remember it being something other than the Reckless Rage feat (from RoS) also. I really thought it was an alternate class feature or something, but I went to throw together a Barbarian today and I can't for the life of me find what I'm looking for. Can anyone jog my memory?

It wasn't the Unearthed Arcana Whirling Frenzy variant (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/classFeatureVariants.htm#rageVariantWhir lingFrenzy), was it?

I didn't think so, because that boosts ac. I could have sworn it was something else that lowered your ac, raised either str or con or both, and stacked with Reckless Rage. I might just be going crazy.

I'm sorry, I mistakenly skipped over a portion of the previous post and later realized I had nothing to contribute.

Well, Races of Stone has Reckless rage, which iirc brings additional +2 str, (maybe)+2 con, -2 AC. Unappr. East has the Ice Troll berserker lodge feat, which gives +2 NA when raging, +4 when greater raging, and it was in a period where 3.5 was still not out, so I think it could be expanded to have +6 or so for mighty rage. I think the frostrager from Frostburn had a similar feature, but I do not know the numerics off the top of my head.
