In the CAdv there are Bardic Feats such as Ironskin Chant (?). I believe this particular one grants DR for one turn. Is it considered bardic music as per the class ability, or would it be a separate ability that functions off of the bardic music ability (such as divine feats to turn attempts).

I have a player who wants to use the Ironskin Chant with Lingering Song. IIRC, that grants everyone DR5/- for 5-6 rounds. It's pretty potent. Not necessarily game breaking, but definitely gives them an upper hand.

Any ideas or previous rulings? Thanks in advance for the help!!

It is a bardic music, but Lingering Song clearly state which bardic music are affected by the feat and Ironskin Chant isn't one of them.
Also be careful because the music give DR 5/- to one person at time, not everyone. It's a swift action and it can't be used more than once per round ^_^
