Chaos-filth 03-27-08, 01:33 AM	So by taking the Bardic Knack (PHBII) and taking the feat Jack of all trades ( CAdv) would you just become the bastard of skills? looking to make a char with ridiculous skills in everything
herrdoktor 03-27-08, 06:03 AM	not really. jack of all trades just gives you a free rank in trained only skills, several of which aren't that great without several ranks in them (though the knowledges are alright). bardic knack gives you a small bonus to skills you don't care about. whoop-de-doo. if you want to play a really 'skilled' character, consider factotum (dungeonscape) - 6+int (their primary stat, at that), ALL skills as class skills, int bonus to str and dex skills, ad the ability to add your level to any skill check (only once a day for any given skill), amongst other neat stuff
