| beestje06-23-07, 11:07 AM | Hi all, I was hoping one of you could help me out with a question about the feat battle blessing in complete champion. I would like to play a dwarven cleric/prestige paladin (in unearthed arcana), but then I was thinking if I could use battle blessing. My thoughts are that there are 4 ways it might work: 1) No effect on any of my spells 2) only the spells which are unique for paladins are effected 3) all spells from the paladin list are effected 4) all spells are effected Please tell me in which way you think it works. Thanks in advance :) B |

I agree I also think that it will not work for all cleric spells, but do you think it will work for all the paladin spells (opion 3)? |

| beestje06-28-07, 02:44 PM | Does anyone else have an opinion on this? Which one of the following do you think applies to this combination: Battle blessing & prestige paladin. 1) No effect on any of my spells 2) only the spells which are unique for paladins are effected 3) all spells from the paladin list are effected Thanks, B |

By the way, you left out what I consider to be the reall case: When casting a spell using a PALADIN spell slot, then it applies. I.E. It does not matter at all if the spell is on another list, but it DOES matter which spell slot you used to cast the spell. |

Thanks for your reply, I think you have a good point, I just hope it doesn't work like this ;). In that case I would argue, that a cleric/prestige paladin couldn't cast any spells using battle blessing, since he doesn't have any paladin slots, but only cleric slots :(. B |
| beestje07-07-07, 08:38 AM | :bump: I think 3 options remain (thanks for your input tarkin and Thunder Dragonbane) 1) When casting a spell using a PALADIN spell slot, then "battle blessing" applies 2) only the spells which are unique for paladins are effected, even if I use a cleric slot, then "battle blessing" applies 3) all spells from the paladin list are effected, even if I use a cleric slot, then "battle blessing" applies Personally I think option 3 applies, what do you think? |
| Thunder Dragonbane07-07-07, 11:06 AM | #1 and #1 only. |
| beestje07-07-07, 11:22 AM | #1 and #1 only. Also when you use prestige paladin? Because then you can't take normal paladin anymore. |
