| Diffan06-15-07, 08:46 AM | no, because of a few reasons... 1st- Paladin spells aren't really good. They've a few that are decent like divine sacrifice, rhino's rush, and find the gap. But compared to the spells of a cleric, they're mediocre(sp?) at best. 2nd-It hinder's the paladin to take feats such as quicken spell and divine meta-magic spell when his spells only go to 4th level. For cleric's it's a much more wise investment, considering the capabilities with his 5 level+ spells. 3rd-Most of the paladin's spells are short lived to begin with, what with his caster level HALF of his base level. You're only going to see spells with a duration of a few short rounds (max 10). 4th-It keeps the paladin up to speed with other/greater class builds that involve the cleric and fighter combos. It's a great feat and if a paladin is going to concentrate on spell casting, it's a feat saver. |
