| Merestil Haye02-20-08, 06:00 AM | By the wording of the feat, it does seem to require the nomination of a second enemy, even if you then choose to make both attacks against the same one. I checked the errata file but it says nothing. I don't see allowing the feat to be used against one enemy at all unreasonable, though. In fact, I find it strange that you can't. |
| Firedale02-20-08, 09:33 AM | Just the way it's worded for the feat, it's actually 2 benefits. The first is that you designate two foes to not provoke from. As with most of the feats, unless specifically stated, the benefits are 'as many as affects you' not 'you only get these if you get all of these', the prereqs are the only thing you need all of. The other benefit is that "While using an attack action with the spring attack feat, you can..." etc etc. The two attacks are there, so reading it as seperate benefits allows for you to attack twice, even when you have only 1 creature available. |
