This feat can stack indefinately with itself. Now you can apply this feat to the same breath more then once. Now lets look at Recover breath. This reduces the time before recovering your breath by 1 round to a max of 1. This can be used on metabreath feats. So now here's the question if you combine these, you could potentially have a breath that is lingering for 8 hours and you would hense recover your breath in 8 hours. So you could drop this in front of a door, or some other place to protect you. Is there any errors in this logic? *edit* Ignore this, doesn't work because recover breath only applies it to the breath and not to the feat. |

Normally a Dragon takes 1d4 rounds(p62Draconomicon) to regain it next use of it's breathe weapon, with lingering Breathe it +2 to the time taken which means 1d4 + 2 = 6 rounds before it can use it's next use and each time you add Lingering Breathe it would be another +2. Now lets look at Recover breath. This reduces the time before recovering your breath by 1 round to a max of 1. This can be used on metabreath feats. It would take the recovery time back down to 1d4 rounds when added to a breathe weapon with a metamagic feat applied So now here's the question if you combine these, you could potentially have a breath that is lingering for 8 hours and you would hense recover your breath in 8 hours. So you could drop this in front of a door, or some other place to protect you. Is there any errors in this logic? Lingering breathe only last 1 round + 1 round for each use of the feat. so that would be 4800ish times that you would have to add the feat to the breathe weapon and i don't think that you could do that.. |
