Cloak Dance [General]
You are skilled at using optical tricks to make yourself seem to be where you are not.

Prerequisites
Hide 10 ranks, Perform (dance) 2 ranks.

Benefit
You can take a move action to obscure your exact position. Until your next turn, you have concealment. Alternatively, you can take a full-round action to entirely obscure your exact position. Until your next action, you have total concealment.

I'd personally up the Perform (dance) req a bit. A move action for concealment is pretty nice, not to mention having portable full concealment. Perhaps 6 ranks?

As is, it's not broken, but it's fairly strong. (Unless I'm forgetting something concealment applies to.)

Shadowdancer Light, and I believe it's overpowered. Here's why. To qualify for Shadowdancer, you need the Dodge, Mobility, and Combat Reflexes feats, 10 ranks in Hide, 8 ranks in Move Silently, and 5 ranks in Perform (Dance). Only then can you take level 1 of Shadowdancer to get HiPS.

This feat basically eliminates the need for Shadowdancer. Per the d20SRD.org:

Concealment and Hide Checks
You can use concealment to make a Hide check. Without concealment, you usually need cover to make a Hide check.

Unless I'm wrong, this feat automatically grants concealment, which combined with a high Hide score, will prevent anyone from spotting the PC. As a DM, I'd say no to this feat; as a powergamer, I'd love this feat because then it means I wouldn't have to spend three feats and a class level to get Hide in Plain Sight.

YMMV. :)

You could always spend a feat to get a soulmeld from magic of incarnum that grants you concealment you know.

Hide in Plain Sight.
I knew I was forgetting something.

You would not be allowed to hide in your own 'concealment'.

You'd have to rule out any tricks that would allow you to snipe or gain sneak attack/sudden strike type damage from this, too.
