I have a player that has both arcane (chr based) and divine spells (wis based). He want to take a feat to change his divine spells to be also chr based. It feels dangerous to me. Are there any existing rules for this type of thing? |

Ask your player if he might want to change to a Cha-based Divine caster class to another such as the Favored Soul (CD) or Shugenja (CD). |
| Willie the Duck02-26-07, 04:38 PM | There are some feats that allow you to use one ability score instead of another in a limited case. For instance, using cha instead of wis for will saves. This is significantly weaker than what you are talking about (effectively changing a whole class mechanic). If WotC thinks the former is worth a feat, than the later would be worth more than a feat. In other words, you player is out of luck. Hey, some builds require more good rolls. In point buy, a cleric/wizard might not have to have a pretty low Dex and Con to get those high Wis and Ints he needs. Such is life. |
