The feat text is below. I think I must be reading it incorrectly, because as it is written it seems to do nothing.
There are no facets of the Rage ability that are effected by level.
What exactly does this feat do?

Chaos Rage
[Anarchic]
(DR326 p80)
Ability to Rage
Chaotic alignment
Intimidate: 4 ranks

Your effective Barbarian level for purposes of using your Barbarian Rage class ability increases by +4, up to your HD. This benefits a multi-classed Barbarian or one with Racial HD.
You gain a Chaotic Aura equal to your Character level. It can discerned by Detect Chaos spell or ability.

Sure there are. Number of uses per day, as well as Greater, Mighty, and Tireless, are features of rage based on your level.

Greater Rage and Mighty Rage are individual abilities, not part of the Rage ability. The increases they grant are referenced under the Greater Rage and Mighty Rage descriptions, not the Rage descriptions.

The number of times you can Rage per day and Tireless Rage are referenced in the Rage ability though, and are thus affected by the feat.

This is obviously a case of inexact wording, though.

So basically all the feat does is increase number of rages per day?
And gives Tireless Rage at level 13 instead of 17?

The feat is for Multiclass characters. A Bbn6/Ftr4 will Rage as a tenth level Barbarian; the same way that a Wiz6/Ftr4 with Practiced Caster casts as a tenth level Wizard (for determining damage, duration, etc., but not access to higher level spells).

I don't think the feat is intended to give you the rage abilities earlier, but to give you the option to multiclass without taking a big hit to one of your main class features; it's just very poorly worded.

If that's the case, I'll just take extra rage. It's twice as effective, and stacks with itself to boot. I prefer to think of it as granting the abilities at or almost at the same level, despite multiclassing.
