| Need_A_Life07-10-07, 07:11 AM | Always been a fan of making my own... First, I made a notepad document called "base sheet" which is every single field from the PHB version of a character sheet, which can be filled out just the same way only with unlimited "slots" for abilities. Then, I tried to make an excel version, which was partially successful in that it made all the calculations with any race that didn't have a level adjustment (I would need to have redone about 8 calculations to fit it in and I couldn't be bothered). At the moment, I am using the notepad as a "master sheet" of the character I'm playing while using the new Encounter Block format (found in most newer adventures and certain sourcebooks) for quick-reference. |

Having it on pdf is incredibly useful as the sheets in there are easily adapted to just about any campaign. Also in terms of making your own if you have the pdf for any sheets you can cut and paste into Word using adobe to make a sheet with more slots for feats. |
