One of my players interprets it differently: If he's using a Full Attack action, then he can Dirty Fight (i.e. layer this over the top of any Full Attack - so he could hit twice, powerattack and dirty fight). Question: Can Dirty Fighting be used with other actions/feats that need a Full Attack as well? |
| tarkin07-16-07, 05:01 PM | You are correct, your player is wrong. Dirty fighting is a feat designed for low level fighters, who only get a single attack per round. Note, being a 3.0 feat, it might not be allowed in 3.5 games. Part of the reason would be the confusion your player had. That said, the feat is on the weak side. If I were to write it up myself, I would do it the way your fighter thinks it already works. |

| tarkin07-16-07, 05:09 PM | By the way, the reason I know it is the way you thought is page 2 of the 3.0 Sword and Fist FAQ. It specifically answers that question. But I can't honestly see taking it if you play it the way WoTC said it should be played. Oh, by the way, you can still Power Attack, - the full round bit just means you get only one attack. |
