If my character has Uncanny Dodge from level 2 in Dwarven Defender, does that mean that I cannot be sneak attacked by an invisible assassin.? the assassin becomes visible after attacking, but he does not have a flank buddy.

Does the uncanny dodge ability completely nerf any lone critter with sneak attack? Does that mean that scouts are just THAT much better than rogues for versatility?

I do understand that if I am flanked, then the assassin would get his SA dice due to having more levels in rogue/assassin, than I di in DD. But I am looking for specific clarification on a lone assassin using sneak attack on a character with the uncanny dodge ability.

Yes. You don't lose your dex, and thus the requirements for sneak attack are not met.
