| Ellanon03-01-07, 07:51 PM | A few years ago I had created a few feats to alter how you got skills. I see now that those threads are gone. So, I am posting them again. Let me know what you think. Tutelage [General] Benefits: Choose any 2 skills. These skills are considered a class skill for one of your classes. Special: When you take this feat you select a class to which the class skills are added. This feat can be taken multiple times. If you have taken Skill Focus, your Skill Focus bonus improves to +4 (instead of the prior +3 for Skill Focus alone) for all skills with Skill Focus. Erudition [General] Benefits: Choose any 1 skill. This is now a class skill for you. Even if you multiclass, the cost to put ranks in this skill remains the same. Special: This feat can only be taken at first level. You can only take this feat once. If you have taken Skill Focus, your Skill Focus bonus improves to +4 (instead of the prior +3 for Skill Focus alone) for all skills with Skill Focus. Knack [General] Benefit: Choose ONE skill. You may gain ranks in that skill at a 1 for 2 ratio. However, your skill cap does not change. Special: If you have Skill Focus and Knack for the same skill, your bonus from Skill Focus increases to +4 for each skill. Natural Aptitude [General] Benefit: Choose up to your Int mod in skills (Minimum 1). You may gain ranks in those skills at a 1 for 2 ratio. However, your skill cap does not change. Special: You may only take this feat once, and at first level. If you have Skill Focus and Natural Aptitude for the same skill(s), your bonus from Skill Focus increases to +4 for each skill. |
