i was just reading through a suppliment for dnd and i found a bar game called everymans fireball. And i thought could you cheat be casting a still, silent, condensed fireball while having eschew materials, pretty much just thinking fireball and having one come up the size of my fist several feet in front of me. i was just wondering if i could do that.

...Condense? Undetonated fireballs are, if I remember correctly, about the size of a marble.

I've read this a few times, and I have no freakin' clue what you're talking about. What and where is "Everyman's Fireball?" Is is a spell, an item, a thought experiment? Is "Condensed" a form of metamagic? How is using metamagic cheating?

I too am confused as to the original intent of this thread...

What is this "Condensed Fireball" to which you're referring? Are you using shape spell? sculpt spell? Is this like Condensed Milk? Just add water for instant fireball that doesn't taste as good as a regular fireball?

It sounds to me like he is using some 3rd party book that like many 3rd party books offers highly overpowered stuff in an attempt to lure greedy PC's to purchase the book.

Man I had this one player who convinced the DM to let him take feats from this ridiculous low magic swashbuckling adventures guide in a Realms game... good lord. Man was critting on a 15-20 x4 with a Longsword o_O

what is so difficult to read here? he clearly stated it is a bar game and yes it is from a 3rd party sup but it is a BAR GAME. like frigg'n darts only it is a fireball game that is probably ridiculas and he wants to know if his idea could help him cheat at the game in the game. if his char is not lawful then i say cheat away. he isn't talking about a feat and nothing he said even remotely sounds like he is.

as far as condense fireball i dont know what he is talking about. i do recall a few condensing effects some where but of hand i cant say.
