confused.... charging...bullrushing....tripping.....f ull attacking? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-04-07, 04:18 AM so the complete champion gives you the alternate barbarian ability to make a full attack after a charge..... if i charge.... start bullrushing.... and i have shock trooper i can use directed bullrush to push them into a square occupied by someone else, use domino bullrush to trip them.... then make a full attack at the end vs. prone baddy?

06-04-07, 10:32 AM I think the Pounce means you get the full attack when you charge instead of doing something else when you charge, like a single attack or a bull rush. So I don't think that trick would work.

It does appear you have a case for it working that way.

Issues I see:
1) You can only charge in a straight line, this limits the positions of any opponents location since you may bull rush them out of your charge lane and then be unable to full attack them at the end.

2) PHB p148 would trip the one you charged regardless if you are successful on the Domino Rush (it seems to be designed to allow you to trip the guy you rushed another guy into and not to help trip the guy you rushed.) So what does this say about the attack? Should it be before or after they are considered prone? A case could be made that the attack should be before they fall prone and another case could be made for the other way.
