| Tactical_00112-14-07, 03:21 AM | I am currently in a debate with my friend on how Consecrate Spell (Complete Divine, page 79) would effect Animate Dead. (PHB, page 198) I argue that the new good descriptor would override the spell's previous evil descriptor. He argues that the new good descriptor is in addition to the evil descriptor, making it both a good and evil spell. Could any of you help resolve this issue? On a more fluff related note does Consecrate Spell simply *make* a spell good for no apparent reason, or does it actually change the workings of a spell to make it acceptable in the eyes of good? (like not destroying the souls of the targets of Animate Dead and using positive energy instead of negative energy to raise them, etc) |
