| Kerelis04-15-08, 11:01 AM | I am currently playing a witch using the class posted here: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=119098. At 13th level the character gets a coven, basically a bonus leadership feat that draws witches to follow the character. The witches also get some bonuses for casting cooperatively. I was thinking about creating a feat to represent ritual magic that the coven can use when working together. Coven Ritual Magic Prerequisite: Coven Class Feature Upon taking this feat, the leader of a coven may select a number of ritual spells equal to his intelligence modifier from the following list: Animate Dead, Create Undead, Restoration, Dismissal, Break Enchantment, Hallow/Unhallow, Banishment, Forbiddance, Dimensional Lock, Permanency, Reincarnate The coven leader may lead his coven in rituals that produce effects equivalent to these spells, except casting times are 10 minutes when the spell casting time is normally a standard action, otherwise casting time is an hour. The caster level is equal to leader's caster level + 1 per participant. All material components and exp costs must be paid by the leader of the ritual. Exp costs may be shared by participants of the ritual at the discretion of the DM. How does it look? Any suggestions on how to do this or balance it better? |
