craft construct {item creation} feat in the monster manual help? [Archive] - Wizards Community

and I quote " the creature can create golems and other magic automations that obey its orders.

what is your take on any PC using this? and so they can create any construct as long as they meet the prerequisites? could someone please clarify this to me???

03-24-07, 12:57 PM There is no problem with PCs using this feat. It allows them to create golems and other constructs. If you are worried about it because it is in the Monster Manual instead of the Player's Handbook, don't be. Just because it is in the MM doesn't mean it is only available to the monsters. It is an Item Creation feat that is available to all creatures that meet the prerequisites.

03-24-07, 01:26 PM A word of warning though, Golems and Effigies are great, but if they get destroyed you are down a heck of a lot of gold pieces that you could have spent on items. They also have portability problems...
