Craft Weaponsmithing is the Skill used

You make two seperate column of checks, one for the sword and one for masterwork.

Both sides are converted to Silver
So
Longsword = 15gold, converted = 15 X 10 = 150 Silver
Masterwork = 300gold, converted = 300 X 15 = 3150 Silver

So first I make the masterwork component, DC 20 and lets say each day I roll a 20, I made the check so multiply my check 20 by the DC 20 = 400 Silver made worth in one day towards the 3150 silver for masterwork. Which would take 8 days basically to do giving me 3200.

Then finally I make the longsword check at DC 15 wich on a 20 would be 300 and its done.

So total to make a Masterwork Longsword in my example would take 9 days? Am I correct on this? Or do I have this wrong?

And the amount of Raw material used is at 1/3 the price. So even though I had to make the skill check at 300, it only cost me 100 gold for the Masterwork and 5 for the Longsword, giving me total cost of 105.

I think technically you should make the sword first, but I guess it doesn't matter.

You make your checks per week, not per day. But each check does complete 400 sp worth of work. so it would take 8 weeks, not 8 days.

Yes, that's one more week, for nine weeks total.

And the amount of Raw material used is at 1/3 the price. So even though I had to make the skill check at 300, it only cost me 100 gold for the Masterwork and 5 for the Longsword, giving me total cost of 105.
