| masterlinktm12-21-07, 09:07 PM | I was wondering, to what extent can i customize an item I craft without any magical enhacements? Some example: If I craft a Greatsword can I increase the damage it does or extend the critical range of a Falchion maybe I want to craft a full plate with a higher dex bonus or lower the check penalty more than masterwork quality |

The root of the problem. If you thought up a way to make a better Greatsword, the 10 million other smiths for the last 10,000 years have been trying to think of the same thing and somehow you discovered it first? If so, then from that point on a Greatsword would be known as masterlinktm's Greatsword (you would forever change the stats of a generic Greatsword) which you can't do since it is no longer a Greatsword and may require EWP to use depending on the advancement? |
