Odinsonnah 07-22-07, 12:03 AM	I'm looking for a skill from any wotc printed D&D book (not Dragon Magazine) that can turn one of your cross class skills in to a class skill. Specifically I'd like to make Disguise a Class skill for a Binder (Tome of Magic). I've heard of two feats that will do it but I'm unable to locate ether of them in a printed book. The first is "Skill Knowledge" and is found here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/buildingCharacters/alternativeSkillSystems.htm#skillKnowled ge). I couldn't find an reference as to where this came from and I couldn't find it in the official SRD here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35). The second one is supposed to be from Oriental Adventures, but I couldn't find it. It's simply called "Versatile". If anyone could help me locate a feat in one of the printed books to do this, I would be very grateful.
ibayboy 07-22-07, 01:03 AM	The Skill Knowledge feat is from Unearthed Arcana (pg81), and it will do exactly what you want. Versitile is from the Rokugan Campaign Setting (pg55).

Malchius 07-22-07, 12:12 PM	I'm sure there's one in Races of Destiny that give you a few class skills based on urban life though.
Harbin_Dunewalker 07-22-07, 12:15 PM	Yup. City Slicker, which is a 1st-level-only feat, gives you Disguise, Forgery, Gather Information, and Knowledge (Local) as permanent class skills for you. There's also some other overlooked feats which can give you certain specific skills as permanent class skills. The most interesting one is that the Martial Study feat actually gives you a permanent class skill in addition to a nifty maneuver, but it's limited to a specific list of skills- one per discipline. Desert Wind: Tumble. Devoted Spirit: Intimidate. Diamond Mind: Concentration. Iron Heart: Balance. Setting Sun: Sense Motive. Shadow Hand: Hide. Stone Dragon: Balance. Tiger Claw: Jump. White Raven: Diplomacy.

Tallow 07-22-07, 01:11 PM	Players Guide to Faerun has Education which gives all knowledge skills as class skills with +2 ranks in two knowledge skills.
Jungingen 07-23-07, 12:29 AM	Able Learner is also excellent, from Races of Destiny. It's only for 1st level humans or dopplegangers, but it allows you to buy all skills as though they were class. Max ranks still goes by whether a skill is class or cross-class, but as long as you have at least one level in a class that gets the skill, you can buy full ranks at class prices.

Does anyone know of the existence of such a feat? I'd like to get Hide on my psychic warrior's class list, but I haven't found a way...
