This is a thread to consider the changes that Starwars Saga Edition made for feats. For the most part the Saga Edition Feats have fewer/no prerequisites. For instance you can take cleave without power attack for instance, but not great cleave without cleave, or running attack (spring attack) without dodge and mobility.

Personally, I like this change and think it has a place at the D&D table. It increases your ability to customize your character by skipping somewhat less desirable feats.

Also, with the removal iterative attacks from high BAB, they've introduced feats for extra attacks (similar to how a flurry works, with a greater penalty). I personally like this change for its simplicity.

Another feature of the Feat system of SWSE is that there are feats for magical (force) ability which allows anyone to pick up smatterings of magical training, though not as much magical ability as a dedicated magician would be able to get. I'd like to work on this as well, but it is a big change.

If anything I could see feats to pick up magical abilities that work similar to maneuvers from ToB, but not limit it to maneuvers. This would be a new category of abilities similar to the force powers of SWSE. I have a thread about D&D Saga Edition Magic (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=876485) to discuss possibilities there.

Also, since there are more feats, the class system (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=873988)has to get a bit of reworking.

Its a large undertaking for little benefit, but what else do you have to do? :D
