| Master_Vega12-14-07, 06:40 PM | I just bought the book and read a feat called Blood Magic on this page (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20modern/article/20060921b&page=2). It allows you to cast a spell by taking 2d6/spell level in damage (1d6 for a cantrip). Balanced for D&D or no? Fast healing is very uncommon in D20Modern, not to mention that Massive Damage is lower (equal to your constitution score) which makes it risky to cast spells higher than 1st level. In D&D, however, MAS is 50 (sometimes higher if you are using the house rule) and there are magic items that grant fast healing (right?) or at least have healing ability. Full casters probably won't get much use out of this ability, though, since they only get either a d4 or d6 HD for the most part. Partial casters may find this feat a lot more useful, however. :P What do you guys think? Edit: Here's a horrible thought. A troll caster with this feat. Ewww... |
